Gallion papers include a typescript copy of Gallion's diary (March 6-December10, 1944) covering his experiences as a prisoner of war at Cabanatuan and at various sites in Japan. Also included is a newspaper obituary outlining his service during the fall of the Philippines and his entire imprisonment up to his death in January 1945.
